Now accepting new patients!
Dr. Peter Capelli was born and raised in Kenosha, WI. His passion for patient care began at a young age. Growing up he would watch his father, Dr. AJ Capelli, and many other family members care for patients in their professions. Dr. Peter Capelli attended UW-Parkside for his undergraduate degree and The Medical College of Wisconsin where he obtained his medical degree. He completed his residency with The Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Menomonee Falls, WI before beginning his career as the Owner/Operator of Capelli Family Medical. When not at work, Dr. Capelli enjoys spending time with his friends and family, working in the garden, cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Alyssa Ricchio P.A.
Alyssa Ricchio is a physician assistant with 15 years of extensive experience spanning family medicine, internal medicine, and hospital medicine. Throughout her career, Alyssa has been driven by a mission to redefine the standard of family practice within her community. Her clinical philosophy centers on the "whole person" model—addressing the intricate interplay between physical, emotional, and spiritual health. While Alyssa remains a firm advocate for the strengths of conventional medicine, she is committed to helping patients navigate evidence-based complementary therapies and integrative medicine. Her goal is to pivot the clinical focus from symptom management to prevention and root-cause resolution. By fostering a partnership with her patients, she empowers them to become active leaders in their own health journeys through sustainable lifestyle modifications. She began her love for medicine while growing up alongside Dr. Peter Capelli at the Kenosha 22nd Avenue Clinic under the “wing” of love, knowledge and guidance from the Capelli and Paukner families and staff. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University in 2011 , worked in community health care for 4 years and then 11 years as a hospitalist physician assistant for multiple family practice providers. She is now formalizing expertise in integrative medicine through the Andrew Weil Center’s Integrative Medicine Fellowship. By combining academic rigor with her clinical foundation, Alyssa aims to lead by example, providing her patients with a comprehensive, evidence-based toolkit to help create a life not only with longevity, but with quality. Outside of the clinic, Alyssa finds her own balance through time with her family, furry and feathered friends, a good laugh, culinary exploration and traveling to anywhere with a hike and a view.
